Piero Mazzocchetti
Piero Mazzocchetti began seriously studying music aged 6, starting with piano at the Conservatory of Pescara.
In his early teens, Piero began singing, studying voice at the conservatory with master Maria Teresa Giammarino (Luciano Pavarotti's teacher).
He began playing in piano bars at the age of 16, singing and playing the piano. The young artist's career turned a corner a short time later when he was His first contract was in a piano bar in Monaco de Baviera, Germany. The sensational young Mazzocchetti was received enthusiastically by his new German audience.
Universal Music, produced his debut record, L'Eternita. followed by a national tour, playing arenas and theaters throughout Germany.
A second release with Universal entitled Parole Nuove expanded the young singer's fan base into Austria and Switzerland, and his third record was followed by a series of stadium performances before audiences of 40,000 to 60,000 fans.
The artist's international exposure rose to a new level in 2006, as Mazzocchetti performed all over the Americas, Europe, and North Africa. Important television appearances alongside genre legends such as Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Whitney Houston, José Carreras, and Phil Collins marked his entrance into a new class of entertainer.
A 2007 performance at the Sanremo Festival, where he took third place, was yet another feather in Mazzocchetti's cap as his impressive career continued its upward trajectory.
